Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

2. Data we collect

We collect the information needed to provide and secure the service:

• Email address and account credentials.
• Optional name and language preference.
• Tunnel configuration, including subdomain, local host and port, protocol, status and connection timestamps.
• Limited technical client information, such as Pervio version, build, macOS version, architecture, bundled frpc version, locale and a random installation identifier. We do not collect device serial numbers or inspect local application content.
• Bandwidth usage and operational records needed to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
• Security, account and transactional email records.

3. Tunnel traffic

Pervio routes traffic between your local service and its public endpoint. We do not use the content of that traffic for advertising or profiling, and we do not intentionally store payloads. Operational metadata may be processed temporarily for routing, reliability, security and abuse prevention.

4. Why we use your data

• To create and operate your account and tunnels.
• To process payments and identify Pro entitlements.
• To provide compatibility support using limited client information.
• To communicate about account, security and service events.
• To protect the service, investigate abuse and comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases

We process account and tunnel data because it is necessary to provide the service you request. We process security and abuse-prevention data based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe service. We process the billing records we receive from Lemon Squeezy to reconcile purchases, grant Pro access, handle support and meet accounting or legal obligations. Lemon Squeezy calculates, collects and remits applicable taxes on the transaction as merchant of record. Where we ask for consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

6. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing and infrastructure operations. Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record and handles payment processing, invoicing and applicable tax collection. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this happens, we rely on an applicable transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, legal requirements, security and dispute resolution. Client device records are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last time the device is seen. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing privacy@pervio.app. Account deletion removes the account and associated service data, subject to records we must retain by law or for legitimate security purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to receive a copy of your data. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We normally respond within 30 days. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

9. Cookies and analytics

The marketing website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented measurement tool that helps us understand aggregate traffic (for example page views and referrers) without building advertising profiles. It does not require a cookie consent banner for its standard configuration. We do not sell personal data. If we add other non-essential technologies later, we will update this policy and provide any required controls first.

10. Children

Pervio is not directed at children. We do not knowingly create accounts for children below the minimum age applicable in their country.

11. Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No internet service is completely secure. We may update this policy from time to time and will update the date above; material changes will be communicated where required.
